Digital Ally (NASDAQ: DGLY), which develops, manufactures and markets advanced video recording products for law enforcement, emergency management, fleet safety and security, announced a partnership with De Soto, Kansas-based Trust Think Products, the exclusive distributer of the Danolyte® disinfectant.

In response to the coronavirus pandemic the two companies have partnered to provide first responders with Danolyte to disinfect workspaces like patrol vehicles, ambulances and other surfaces with no harsh chemicals, harsh fumes, or chemical residuals.

This one-step disinfectant cleaner is designed for cleaning and disinfecting hard, non-porous environmental surfaces in health-care facilities. The disinfectant has demonstrated effectiveness against viruses similar to the 2019 Novel Coronavirus (SARS-CoV-2) on hard porous and/or non-porous surfaces and has been listed on the EPA’s List N: Disinfectants for Use Against SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes the novel COVID-19 disease also known as the coronavirus.

Department of Justice Makes $850M Available to Help Public Safety Agencies Address COVID-19

The Department of Justice is making $850 million available to help public safety agencies respond to the challenges posed by the outbreak of COVID-19.

The Coronavirus Emergency Supplemental Funding program, authorized by the recent stimulus legislation, will allow eligible state, local and tribal governments to apply immediately for these critical funds. The department is moving quickly to make awards, with the goal of having funds available for drawdown within days of the award.

Personal protection equipment and supplies, such as disinfecting products, are one of the key funding goals of the program.
