Leadership makes or breaks companies.

You can have a great technology, a great product or service, but with the wrong management team, with the wrong CEO, things can go badly wrong. Jim Collins’ book, Good to Great, talks about level 5 leaders and their qualities. One of the qualities of great leaders is humility, a lack of hubris, a willingness to give others credit, and to admit when one is wrong. All the great companies in Jim Collins book had level 5 leaders. Collins defined great companies as those who outperformed the market by at least three times over a 15-year period.

"I work with many of the companies that would be RedChip companies. And we certainly ascribe to the same view that the RedChip Companies do, which is Discovering Tomorrow's Blue Chips Today."
