Jason (Zesen) Chen, Ph.D. - Research Analyst
Dr. Chen was the pioneer that introduced commercial Internet technology to China in 1994-1995. He co-founded the first Chinese Internet company GC Information to integrate telecommunication and Internet services. In 2000, Dr. Chen co-founded the financial service solution company Northern Star to introduce financial engineering technology to China. Dr. Chen also worked at Northern Jiaotong University and Shanxi province central planning committee. In the U.S., Dr. Chen served as a senior scientist for AT&T labs, Associate director for SBC business marketing and other positions in the hi-tech industry and in academia. Dr. Chen invented over twenty U.S. patents across telecom, networking, and multimedia industries. Dr. Chen holds his Ph.D in mathematics from the University of Massachusetts (Amherst, MA), MS from Northern Jiao-Tong University (Beijing) and B.S from the University of Science and Technology of China (Hefei).

Lisa Springer, MBA, CFA -Senior Research Analyst
Lisa serves RedChip as senior research analyst and brings to this position nearly 20 years of investment research experience. Lisa began her career in investment research in 1987 as part of the equity research team at Kemper Financial Services. In 1989, Lisa joined the Financial Relations Board, at the time the nation's largest investor relations consulting firm, rising from the position of Senior Associate to Vice President and Director of Financial Analysis. During her tenure with Financial Relations Board, Lisa was a consultant to Fortune 1000 companies such as Boston Market, MGI Pharma, Devon Energy, Pall Corp., Upjohn Pharmaceutical and EMC Corp. In 2000, Lisa joined Great Lakes REIT, A NYSE-listed real estate investment trust as Director of Investor Relations, serving in that position until the REIT's acquisition by a private investment firm in 2004. Since then, Lisa has worked as an equity research analyst for Red Chip Companies and other independent equity research providers. Additionally, she was a writer for Dow Theory Forecasts, a weekly investment newsletter. Lisa earned an MBA degree in finance from the University of Chicago in 1987 and has been a CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) Charter holder since 1991.

James Altenbach, CFA - Research Analyst
James serves RedChip Companies as a research analyst. He possesses over 13 years of sales, financial advisory, institutional relationship, research, and general management expertise, working for research firms such as H.C. Wainwright & Co. Economics, Altimus Capital and First Allied Securities. At RedChip, James uses his invaluable experiences in investment research, sales and institutional relationships to serve RedChip clients. His research focuses on companies in the E-Commerce, Video Game Publishing, Telecommunications, Wireless, and Internet Security sectors. James is a graduate of California State University, Los Angeles and has earned the designation of Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).

Saeid Hamedanchi, CFA, MSBA, EMBA - Research Analyst
Saeid serves RedChip Companies as a research analyst. Prior to joining RedChip, he held the position of Senior Investment Officer at Islamic Development Bank, where he analyzed, evaluated and recommended investment proposals in equity and debt financing for member nations. In the past, he served as a research analyst for Credit Agricole Indosuez Securities and as founder and CEO of American Computer Distributors, a manufacturer of data communications equipment in Eastern Europe. His research includes companies in the Electronic Contract Manufacturing, Telecommunications, and PC Service Provider sectors. Saeid earned a B.A. in Business Administration from Hope College. He received his Executive MBA and MSBA from the University of Southern California, and has earned the designation of Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).

Jin Xing, MBA, CFA Level I Candidate - Equity Analyst
Jin Xing MBA graduate from University of California, Riverside. He brings an in-depth knowledge of financial markets and investment analysis, having worked as a research assistant and as an investment analyst at the Evergreen Group. He is fluent in Mandarin and focuses his research on China based companies trading on U.S. exchanges. He is also a CFA level I candidate.

Clayton R. Mahaffey, Jr. CFA - Oil & Gas Analyst
Mr. Mahaffey began his career with Exxon Chemical in engineering and technical assignments and later moved into sales and marketing and also has significant Corporate Development/board room experience with a major chemical manufacturing company. He conducted merger and acquisition services for The Sterling Group and led an LBO program targeting a segment of the specialty chemical industry for a Boston based financial service firm. He has worked with an SEC reporting Registered Investment Advisor. As an independent equity analyst he has been quoted in Bloomberg and numerous print and online publications. Mr. Mahaffey has a BS in Chemical Engineering from LSU and an MBA from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania. He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.

Holmes Osborne, CFA - Research Analyst
Holmes Osborne began his career as a financial consultant for Merrill Lynch Private Client Group in Naples, Florida where Mr. Osborne assisted clients in asset management and estate planning. After Naples, Mr. Osborne managed trust portfolios for Merrill Lynch Trust Company (a division of Merrill Lynch's mutual fund division) in Boca Raton, Florida. The trust department managed over $1 billion in clients' assets. After Florida, Mr. Osborne worked in management for Farmers Insurance Group in Los Angeles, California. Mr. Osborne has a degree in finance from the Martin J. Whitman School of Management at Syracuse University. Licenses held are Series 7, 63, 65, and 26. Mr. Osborne holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation, belongs to the CFA Society and Los Angeles Society of Financial Analysts. Mr. Osborne is also a member of the National Association of Business Economists and the Los Angeles Venture Capital Association.

Joseph Blankenship, MBA, CFA Level I Candidate - Research Analyst
Joseph Blankenship serves RedChip as a research analyst and possesses over 40 years experience in equity research, institutional and retail research, business planning, financial advisory, research-based marketing, and general management. Mr. Blankenship began his career in investment research in 1994 as Managing Director for the Aspen Financial Group in Richardson, Texas. While at the company, Mr. Blankenship provided independent equity research for investment managers and pension funds. In 1998, Mr. Blankenship joined Peacock, Hislop, Staley & Given as Vice President of Capital Markets Group where Mr. Blankenship conducted equity research, provided support to retail and institutional sales, wrote in-depth industry reports as well as individual company analyses and reports. From 1985 to 1990, Mr. Blankenship was Director of Project Finance for U S West Financial Services. From 1966 to 1985 Mr. Blankenship was Manager of Business Planning for Armco, Inc., a steel-manufacturer and LTV Corporation, a conglomerate with operations in steel, oil field equipment, aerospace, and meat processing. Mr. Blankenship earned his BBA, Finance from the University of Cincinnati in 1966 and his MBA, Finance from the University of Cincinnati in 1970 and is a CFA Level One Candidate.

Lijie Zhong, M.D., Ph.D. - Bio Tech Analyst
Prior to joining RedChip Dr. Zhong was the Senior Manager of Biostatistics at Gilead Sciences Inc. While at the Company, Dr. Zhong lead biostatistical activities in the development of a new class of anti-HIV/AIDS integrase inhibitors. Dr. Zhong worked as a clinical trial statistician for eight years in the pharmaceutical industry and as a research statistician for five years in a cancer research institute. Dr. Zhong has extensive experience in protocol development, clinical trials design, data collection, data management, data analysis, and study reporting with hands-on skills in statistical programming using SAS and S-plus. Dr. Zhong holds a Ph.D. in Biostatistics from McGill University in Canada, an M.Sc. in Biostatistics from Shanghai Medical University in Shanghai, China, as well as an M.D. from Shanghai Medical University and is expected to complete his MBA in spring of 2007 from Golden Gate University in San Francisco, CA. Additionally, Dr. Zhong has been published in over twenty medical journals.

Nancy Hull, CFA Level I Candidate - Research Analyst
Nancy Hull serves RedChip as a research analyst with broad knowledge of multiple industry sectors with expertise in information technology and biotechnology. Ms. Hull boasts a proven 10-year track record as securities analyst on both the buy and sell-side and is highly skilled in financial modeling, valuation, competitive research, and strategic analysis. Prior to joining RedChip Ms. Hull served as a senior associate at Caerus FirstRound Partners, LLC from 1999 - 2000. In 2000, Ms. Hull joined the Avalon Research Group as senior technology analyst and was promoted in 2005 to managing director of equity research and information technology. Most recently, Ms. Hull held the position of portfolio manager with Reefbreak Management, LLC in 2006. While at the Company, Ms. Hull identified, researched, and analyzed equity investment opportunities primarily in the enterprise software, online commerce, and consumer electronics sectors. Additionally, Ms. Hull developed and maintained earnings/valuation models and analyzed ongoing financial performance of portfolio companies in information technology and tangential sectors. Ms. Hull earned her Master of Business Administration from the University of Florida. She has earned the distinction of NASD Series 7, 63, 86, 87 and 24 certifications and is a CFA Level I Candidate.
